Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship to Canada

Last year, Canada accepted over 11,000 new permanent residents through the Parents and Grandparents (PGP) immigration program. PGP follows the random invitation or lottery method, as in previous years. Potential sponsors must fill out an 'interest in sponsor' form beforehand for family sponsorships.

The steps for sponsoring parents and grandparents for permanent residence in Canada were slightly modified last year.
